Union Adventist University

Founded in 1891 by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Union Adventist University empowers students to learn, serve and lead in a supportive, faith-filled environment. With one of the most diverse student bodies on the Great Plains, Union's tree-covered campus in southeast Lincoln is home to a vibrant and welcoming community for students of all faiths and backgrounds.

Union offers more than 50 majors, minors and emphases in 28 fields of study, including master's degrees in leadership, occupational therapy, physician assistant studies and public health — all with accelerated options to get started as undergraduates. Union's commitment to the success of every student is evidenced by free tutoring for all classes and academic/life coaches assigned to all first-year students. The university's emphasis on experiential learning is seen in events like Project Impact, the longest running collegiate service day in the nation, and majors like international rescue and relief, a one-of-a-kind program that prepares students for lives of service and adventure.
